Why a 3D printed sink prototype?

Is the prototype watertight?

In its raw state, an FDM printed part has a slight porosity. It is first used to validate the shape; a primer and varnish finish can be considered in the quote depending on the intended use.

Can the design be changed after printing?

Touch-ups are limited: for a significant change, we modify the file and reprint. Hence the value of a miniature prototype when the style is not yet settled.

What is the maximum size?

Up to 110×110×170 cm in a single piece; beyond that, printing in several assembled parts.

What budget and lead time should I plan for?
