A luminous 3D printed event decoration
A 3D crown for the Miss Excellence stage
The objective given to us was to create a luminous decoration to decorate the stage of the Miss Excellence event which took place in Châteaubernard in the Poitou-Charentes region on 29 April 2023.
Based on the competition logo, we created a hollow 3D crown file, designed to accommodate a battery operated LED interior lighting system, allowing the crown to be moved at will and to be illuminated.
A 3D LED wreath designed with a translucent filament
The 3D crown, 1 metre wide and 90 cm high and 25 cm thick, was printed using a natural PET filament, giving the piece a frosted effect. The 3D crown was printed in large format 3D printing in just 80 hours.
The 3D tiara was made with a hollow back to allow for easy insertion of LED lighting to highlight the crown when the stage was turned off.
A 1 metre wide Miss Excellence 3D tiara
This crown was used specifically for the coronation of Miss Excellence 2023 in Chateaubernard, but it will also be used for the next Miss Excellence coronations in the region.
This large format 3D crown can be used to decorate several stages and extend its life on many events.
